Mental Health (via Islamic lens)

Mueid,

Mental health is seen in a holistic lens in Islam. It is also managed holistically. The word “holy” appropriately defining Allah’s guiding hand in this management. The Qur’an and Sunnah are therefore essential in maintaining a healthy mind. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment” (Bukhari). At Rahmah, we provide specialized support to people in an attempt to be a part of the “treatment” while providing generalized counseling as prescribed by the Holy One.
